La IAM en Nigeria
(del blog de la Hna. Maryann)

Dear Sisters,
Happy Feast of Our Lady of Apostles from Abuja! Greetings from Cecil (from Franco-phone), Mary Ede and Anne Falola - the 3 permanent members in Abuja, there are always other sisters coming and going for one transaction or the other, since almost all government and diplomatic offices are now in Abuja.
There is a lot of excitement here because all the OLAs in Kaduna, Zawan, Bauchi and Abuja will gather for the OLA feast for the first time in the Federal Capital. We are seizing the opportunity to 'launch' the 'Cenacle House' which is the name given to the new Convent in abuja. The construction work is going well and we have now reached the decking level. We also use this ocassion to register friends of OLA (FOLA) here in Abuja. The SMA fathers and entire parish communty have been very helpful. Also many ex-students of our various schools from all over the country who are now based in abuja have been very excited to recieve us in the new capital. In spite of the great welcome, there are always 'tething problems' in any new beginning. So we ask for your prayerful support.
May Our Lady, Queen of the Apostles, make us women apostles passionate enough about the mission to risk all for the Kingdom.
Anne
